What if my GP says my prescription no longer covers any gluten free foods?
It’s up to your Clinical Commissioning Group (the group that chooses NHS services for your local area) to decide whether they’re going to follow the new guidance.
So if your GP tells you you’re no longer able to have any gluten free foods on prescription, our friends at Coeliac UK might be able to help you challenge your local CCG’s decision. You can get in touch with them at their website coeliac.org.uk or by calling their Helpline on 0333 332 2033.
In the meantime, if you’ve got any questions about prescription changes or our range of gluten free foods, don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll do our very best to answer them.
