‘Twas two weeks before Christmas, as the North Pole froze,

That Santa himself was first diagnosed,

He’d been feeling quite sickly and started to bloat,

Till he no longer fit in his famous red coat.

“This is terrible news,” he said with a frown,

“Think of all the poor children I’m going to let down.”

“See, on Christmas Eve, as every child knows,

You leave carrots for Rudolph with his shiny red nose,

And a mince pie for Santa to nibble at night,

To prove that I’ve stopped on my grand Christmas flight.

But mince pies contain gluten, that’s now banned from my diet,

Not so much as a nibble, I can’t even try it!”

When the elves saw that Santa was feeling so blue,
